Gregg and Karen met in 1987 when they both worked for Interiorscape, Inc., in Connecticut. They moved to the Capital Region in 1994, and managed the interiorscape department for a large local nursery for 16 years before deciding in 2010 that they were ready to build a business with a single focus on providing high quality interior landscaping and related business services.
We design with an emphasis on Biophilic Design, which is an understanding that the connection to nature is critical to human performance and well being, especially within the built environment.
Research has demonstrated that we feel better and are more productive in the presence of plants. The Living Building Challenge, which pushes the envelope of sustainable building, includes credits for both Biophilic Design Attributes as well as Beauty. This process recognizes the importance of sustaining the people within a sustainable building.
While Gregg and Karen enjoy making capital area businesses a happier, healthier place to work, their employees do too. “Our technicians share our passion for working with people and nature together and that passion is the foundation for the success of our company.”
Bring your building to life with beautiful, well maintained plants!
